Family Storytime
Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 7:30pm
March 5: “Magical Tales” – Today, in 1955, Penn Jillette (half of the magic/comedy team Penn and Teller) was born. We’ll hear some magical stories, see some magic tricks, and make some magic signing together.
March 12: “Tales of the Weird and the Unexplainable” – The Bermuda Triangle, a region of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean, has witnessed the disappearance of a number of aircraft and ships that some say are due to the activities of extraterrestrial beings. On this day in 1609, Bermuda was colonized by the English. Let’s see what mysteries lie in books and songs.
March 26: “Aliens Have Landed” – Today is Leonard Nimoy’s (Spock in Star Trek) 77th birthday. Books, songs and strange alien dances will be explored.
